Sparks keep flying as electrifying soprano Judith Dodsworth and pianistic dynamo Peter de Jager combine superpowers to summon George Crumb’s Apparition, his spellbinding setting of Walt Whitman’s 1865 poem When lilacs last in the dooryard bloom’d, brimming with tenderness and mysticism.
