“poetic pianism” (The Age)

Praised for his “poetic pianism” (The Age), Melbourne-based internationally acclaimed concert pianist Kristian Chong engages us at the deepest level with two of the most profoundly philosophical solo piano masterpieces that Wolfgang Mozart and Franz Schubert penned between them. The fourth fantasy, one of only a precious handful of heartfelt works for which Mozart solemnly chose the key of C minor, hurls us across a turbulent trajectory of contrasting characters and harmonic faultlines, before the gravitational pull of Schubert’s B-flat major alternate universe rocks us to our spiritual core.
