Stefan and Monica’s thank you for a triumphant 2023 festival

Hello to our wonderful PFSMF family,

We are writing to you with much happiness after another triumphant Port Fairy Spring Music Festival in October, and with immense gratitude to all who attended and to the brilliant contributors who made it possible.

Huge congratulations to all our performers and wordsmiths for their artistry, courage, passion, and their endless generosity of spirit.

Our heartfelt thanks go to our entire Festival team – the Board, the administration, the production crew, and the volunteers, for their countless hours of unwavering dedication, culminating in the presentation of over twenty events in seventy-two hours. Bravissimi!

To all our sponsors, partners, and donors, we express our utmost appreciation for each and every precious relationship that continues to ensure the sustainability and vitality of the Festival.

Our particular thanks go to Creative Victoria for their unshakeable and long-held belief in our creative endeavours; to Metals Manufacturers for their benevolent vision for Southwest Victoria; to Kawai Australia for the magnificence of their pianos and the sheer scale of their generosity over so many years; to I-Nex and ArtFuel for continually guiding our Festival to the next level of operational precision; to Langley’s for accommodating our artists so beautifully; to Crawford River for their exquisite wine; to Australian Digital Concert Hall for relaying our concerts to the world with the assistance of Creative Australia; to the Moyne Shire, and to the Community Bank Port Fairy & District, for their support and faith in our community and education programs; and to the Cope-Williams Arts Foundation, the Friends of the Festival, and numerous individual philanthropists, without whose loyal contributions a Festival like this would simply not be possible.

And to all our attendees who made the journey to Port Fairy or who tuned in online – you are amongst our artists’ very favourite audiences, keen to be nourished by and to continue nourishing the art form and thriving cultural ecosystem we all hold so dear. Thank you for your warmth, enthusiasm, and ongoing commitment to the Port Fairy Spring Music Festival.

And to all our Festival faithful who were unable to attend, we would love to see you next year! Save the dates – 11 to 13 October 2024.

With love and gratitude,

Monica & Stefan
